Delaney is 3 months old!

"Laney-bug", as Daddy calls her, is 3 months old!

She's growing and getting bigger everyday :)

Delaney turned 3 months old on July 17th.  The best part about her is her smile :)  She could be fighting sleep and frustrating me and she smiles so big and wide that I can't help but to smile back.  She looks for me in a room and is happy to see me when I walk by.  Dylan loves to give her hugs and kisses and it brings me such joy to watch him love on her like that.  He is so sweet to her!  He loves to tell me, "Delaney's crying...she needs her passy!"  Or when I'm changing her, he will say, "Delaney got a BIG stinky?"  It's so funny!

A few stats...

Weight:  ? (a little over 12lbs now)

Height: ? (a little over 23 1/2in. now)

Head: ? (we go back to the Dr. at 4mo.)

Eye color:  grey/brown

Hair color:  Light brown

Sleep:  She sleeps all night long from 9-6 usually.

Naps:  She does have a morning nap now usually from 7:30-9 or 8-9:30.  All other naps are a little more unpredictable.  Usually she's ready to nap 1-2 hours after she eats.

Feeding:  She's nursing every 2-3 hours and usually about 6 times a day.

Her new things:  She laughed for the first time and it was the sweetest sound!  She also rolled over from her tummy to her back for the first time and I got it on camera.

Our Mini-Vacay...Delaney is 2 months...Dylan is 2 1/2!

This year for Dylan's 1/2 birthday we went back to Ocean Lakes Family Campground.  This is the 3rd year in a row!  It's becoming a family tradition that may just have to stick.  I used to go every year as a kid and loved it :)  It really is a great place!  Although having a 2 year old and an infant has it's challenges, right now it's just time to make memories.  

Here is Dylan hanging out in his beach chair.  We just finished setting up the camper.  Thanks Mom and Dad for letting us borrow it every year!

After we set up camp, we went out to the beach!  Every year Dylan can do a little more.  This year he enjoyed sitting in the sand and playing.  He also jumped the waves with Mommy and Daddy :)

Delaney hung out under the umbrella.

She slept to the sound of the waves crashing.

 Father's Day was Sunday and we went back to the Mrytle Beach Aquarium.

Dylan was amazed at the sharks again this year!

He loves the truck and motorcycle the best!  Just like last year!

On the same day, June 17th, Delaney turned 2 months old!  Here she is...

A few things about little miss...

She just started to smile big and "talk".  She babbles and coos and goos all the time...usually right after she eats!  A full belly always makes a happy baby :)

Weight:  12lbs 3oz 90%

Height:  23 1/2in 96%

Head:  39cm 82%

Feeding:  She nurses about 7-8 times a day.  Every 2-3 hours.

Sleeping:  She sleeps usually from 9pm-6am!

Napping:  She still likes to snooze about an hour after she eats!

She is such a good baby and her big brother loves her very much!

Time is flying by and we are loving every minute of it!  Delaney is such a sweetheart and Dylan is such a proud big brother.  He tells everyone "that's my sister, Delaney...she's so cute!"  And cute she is!!!  Here is her 1 month photo...

Height:  ? (will get new measurements at her 2 month well visit)

Head:  ?

Feeding:  She nurses every 2-3 hours.  Eats about 8 times a day and once at night, usually about 2 or 3 in the morning.

Sleep:  She's a great sleeper.  She will sleep 5-7 hour stretches at night.

Delaney at 2 weeks!

Delaney is growing so fast I can't keep up!

At her 2 week well visit: 5-1-13

Weight: 8lbs 7oz  60%

Height: 21 in  85%

Head: 36 1/2cm  76%

She's a really good baby!  Hardly ever cries and loves to snuggle.  She feeds every 2-3 hours during the day with one night time feeding usually around 2 or 3am.  She's pretty predictable!  She likes to nap exactly an hour after she starts eating.  For example, if she starts eating at 12:45, then she's ready to go back to sleep by 1:45.  She may fuss or whine but a good bounce will do the trick.  She loves her bouncy seat and will look out the window before nodding off!  I couldn't have asked for a better, easier baby!  Here she is before we left for her 2 week well visit.

Dylan has fit right into the big brother role.  He loves to give her kisses and hugs.  He tells everyone, "That my sister...she's so cute!"  It's the sweetest thing.  Right now she's just looking at him but soon she will recognize him and get excited when he comes around!  Here they are just playing around :)
