Jesus Loves Me...

Jesus loves me this I know
For the bible tells me so
Little ones to HIM belong...

Today was a very special day for The Plyler Family.
Dylan Jennings Plyler was baptized at Shandon Presbyterian Church.

He was so good!!!  He clapped when he heard his name.  He sang when the congregation sang.  And he said hello to everyone when Pastor Agnes walked him down the aisle.  He got real quiet when she dripped water on him.  He was so sweet and I couldn't have asked for a better day!

About to present Dylan to the church

Dylan with his MaMa and PaPa!

Dylan with his Nana and Papa!

After church we went to our house for lunch!  Everything was so yummy!
Dylan even got a few presents...

Practicing opening presents...he's pretty good at this!!!

Dyl loves BOOKS!!!

Already learning how to turn the pages on his own :) Proud Momma!!

Today was an awesome day!  Had so much fun with our family to celebrate this wonderful event!

BIG SMILE...from EAR to EAR!!!

Gamecock FANS!!!

Daniel and I are both USC alumni...so, If Dylan decides to wear ORANGE later we will not be happy!!!  With that in mind...we are raising him right!  Gotta get 'em early!

One day last week, Daniel came home with 2 new jerseys!!!  One for ME :)  And one for Dyl :)

So on Saturday, September 17th two BIG events happened...

1.  USC vs. NAVY
(Dan and I went to the game...Nana and Papa took Dylan for the night!!!)

2.  Dylan turned 9 months old :)

Mommy, Dylan and Daddy are ready for some GAMECOCK Football :)

Dylan was even nervous watching those Gamecocks play...IT WAS A WIN!!!
YAY Marcus Lattimore!

And then on Monday, September 19th the family went to Dylan's 9 month check-up.
He is 25 pounds 4 ounces and 29 inches long!  That means we will be getting a new car seat soon because the one we have (which is the largest one you can buy) only goes up to 30 pounds and 30 inches!  He will have a big boy car seat before he's ONE!!!  I cannot believe how fast it has gone...but I have loved every minute of it :)

GO GAMECOCKS!!!

My 31st BIRTHDAY!

My birthday was August 27th and this year I turned 31. We didn't have plans but our friends Perry, MaryBeth and Allie Jane Campbell invited us to come with them to the beach! It was a great way to get away and celebrate my birthday at my favorite place...THE BEACH!!! I think Dylan liked it too...here are some highlights!

Here is me and Dyl on the BEACH!!! I think he likes it :)

Here is Dyl...chillin!!!!

You see him eyeing that sand...just wait...here is the sand in the face shot!!! Haha...love it :) AND...thats my boy!!!

It's so yummy!!! He also enjoyed the waves this time!!! We went to the beach for his 6 month, 1/2 birthday, but he was a little scared of the waves!!! Don't get me wrong...he LOVES water!!! He splashes all the time in the tub! But I think he just didn't get why the water was splashing at him the first time...but now...he's good!!! :)

He also practiced his crawling skills!!! He began getting up on his knees early like 7 months...but would only go backwards!!! Then, he started rocking back and forth, back and forth! At this time he was taking a few steps crawling forward at a time and then stop. BUT...as soon as we got back home from this trip...he has been everywhere!!! He's crawling into everything!!! His favorites...Brinkley's bed (to get her ball), our printer (he likes to bang on it like a drum), and the surge protector (I've caught him chewing on cords!)...can we say BABY PROOF!!!

My little man is growing up so fast!!! WE both need to slow down!!! But so far my 30's have been pretty fabulous because of him :) I love you so much Monkey :)

Don't you just wanna eat him up??? I'm so glad I can get Dylan sugar everyday!!!
